Availability

Yes, we have voice mail at CTC Translation, but you will rarely have to use it – when the phone rings, we answer it! And if you e-mail us, you can expect a prompt response.

Invoicing

Generally, translation fees are based on the number of words in the document to be translated. The number of words in a document is generally established using the “Word Count” function in the software application in which the document was created.

Different rates apply for different types of documents. A basic rate applies for general documents; a slightly higher rate is charged for technical documents.

For editing, adaptation, and text-optimization services, an hourly rate or fixed fee is charged.

We always make sure our clients know and approve the total cost of their project before we translate or write a single sentence.

Deadlines

At CTC Translation, we know that businesses face tight production timelines and that meeting deadlines is critical to project success.

Project delivery dates are set with our clients before work starts. If an unforeseen development is likely to delay delivery – an extremely rare occurrence – we contact our client immediately to inform them of the situation and agree on an alternative course of action.

Quality Assurance

At CTC Translation, all mandates are carried out with care by experienced professionals.

To ensure superior quality, each document is carefully reviewed by a professional editor and put through automatic spell and grammar checks. The editor makes sure that all client specifications have been respected, all words choices are apt, and the language in the document is of a high standard.
